Bolshoi Ballet is going to perform its The Taming of the Shrew in Monaco (December 19-21).
The premiere of the ballet choreographed by Jean-Christophe Maillot took place this summer and made a great success.
Expecting the Bolshoi’s visit to Monte-Carlo Jean-Christophe Maillot welcomes the troupe.
Performances of new Bolshoi’s Rigoletto will take place on 14 and 16-21 December.
Premier performances will take place on 2014 November 28-30, December 27, 28, 30, 31 & 2015 Janyary 2-4, 6 & 7.
On the eve of the New Year, the Bolshoi Theatre has decided to present a winter fairy tale for children as well as for adults. Namely, The Story of Kai and Gerda — an opera, based on Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen, written by the marvelous Petersburg composer Sergei Banevich.
From November 20 till December 7: seven cities and three ballets.
