Thiago Arancam began his musical studies in his native Brazil, then at the Accedemia of the Teatro alla Scala. Since his debut concert at La Scala he has appeared there often in several operas and aria concerts. An active concert soloist as well, Mr. Arancam has appeared with the Orchestra Sinfonica of the Friuli-Venezia-Giulia in a program of Zarzuela arias and classical Spanish songs. He has also appeared with the Orchestra of the Teatro alla Scala on tour in the United Arab Emirates, as well in concert with the Orchestra Camerata Brasil conducted by Maestro Silvio Barbato.

During the 2008 — 2009 season Thiago Arancam debuted at the Washington National Opera as Don Jose in Carmen as well as debuted at Oper Frankfurt as Cavaradossi in Tosca. His debut at the Teatro Regio di Torino in Adriana Lecouvreur was followed by his London recital debut for the Rosenblatt Recital Series at St. John’s. He was also heard in concert performances as Radames in Verdi’s Aida for Soirees Lyriques de Sanxay.
Mr. Arancam began the 2009 — 2010 season with concert performances of Carmen with the Dewan Filharmonik Petronas in Kuala Lumpur. He made his debut at Teatro Massimo di Palermo as Ismaele in Nabucco followed by Tosca for Teatro Perez Galdos in the Canary Islands. He also debuted at Polish National Opera as Don Jose in Carmen, returned to Soirees Lyriques de Sanxay as Pollione in Norma and appeared at Latvian National Opera in Il tabarro.
In the 2010 — 2011 season Mr. Arancam made his debut at San Francisco Opera as Christian in Cyrano de Bergerac alongside Placido Domingo and sang Cavaradossi in Tosca at the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
The winner of several competitions, Thiago Arancam won the prestigious Premio RevelaŃao of V Concurso Internacional de Canto Erudito Bidu Sayao as well as The Premio Alto Adige — Talento emergente della lirica 2007/2008 in Bolzano. Mr. Arancam was also the recipient of the Zarzuela Prize, Audience Prize and Second prize in the 2008 Operalia competition.
