She worked for the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre where she sang lead roles: Olga (Eugene Onegin), Rosina (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), title role (Carmen).
She has worked at the Novaya Opera Company ever since it was founded in 1991. For this Company, she sings the roles of Naina (Ruslan and Lyudmila), The Nurse (Eugene Onegin), The Nurse (Rubinstein’s The Demon), The Countess (The Queen of Spades), Xenia's Nurse (Mussorgsky's Boris Godunov), Bobylikha (Rimsky-Korsakov's The Snow Maiden), Clotilde (Norma), Giovanna (Rigoletto), Lucia (Cavalleria Rusticana), Pig (Valdgardt's The Cat's House).
She has toured a lot in Russia and abroad with solo concerts, included in her programs are works by Schuman, de Falla, Granados, Rachmaninov and also old Russian romances.
In 2007, she performed the part of the Nurse in Eugene Onegin conducted by Daniel Barenboim at the Salzburg Festival. In July 2008 she sang the part of Buryja in Janacek’s Jenufa at the Mahnheim Theatre.
She has taken part in radio recordings of the operas Carmen and Eugene Onegin, and also of arias and romance. She has recorded two LPs: Frauenliebe und Leben by Robert Schuman and Spanish Songs by Manuel de Falla.
She won several prizes at International vocal competitions: Prague Spring (1959, 1st prize), Georges Enescu International Competition (1960, Budapest, Ist prize and Golden medal).
