La Scala to open a new season at The Bolshoi

Once again The Bolshoi forestalls the new theatrical season opening with the tour of one of the leading opera houses in the world. Last autumn it was Teatro Real de Madrid — the theater came to Moscow and “stepped” on our New stage for the first time. This September La Scala will be the first guest to tread the boards on the historical stage.
