This weekend The Bolshoi artists made a statement in international contests once again.

Opera Company soloist Olga Kulchinskaya won the 1st prize at Francisco Viñas Contest in Barcelona upstaging 600 contestants. The winner will perform at Teatro Real in Madrid on January 29.

Young artists opera program member Bogdan Volkov performed Lensky's aria from "Eugene Onegin" opera and got the Audience Choice Award and the 1st award at Paris Opera Contest. And The Bolshoi soloist Venera Gimadieva got the 2nd performing aria from "La Sonnambula" opera.
