Born in Kiev (Ukraine). Studied at the Kiev Ballet School. Then was transferred to Moscow Ballet School (today the Moscow State Academy of Choreography), where she trained in Sophia Golovkina’s graduates’ class.
In 1991, having completed his studies, she joined the Bolshoi Theatre Company.
For a long time she was training under Marina Semyonova.
At the present time, her teacher-repetiteur is Lyudmila Semenyaka.
