Having taken a look behind the scenes of all five theatres the spectators will see how similar everyday life and work is for the ballet artists on different continents, yet how dif ferent the companies are from one another in terms of stylistics and the manner of performing. This is what makes each collective unique on the world ballet stage. W arm-ups during morning classes and rehearsals for the coming productions; this day on-line will show how much those people, who help the companies maintain their reputation in the world, are devoted to their job. It will be a revelation even for the most sophisticated viewer. Audiences from different countries of the world will be able to establish interactive contact with the dancers, the choreographers and the pedagogues - those people that live and breathe ballet for their whole lives - and ask those questions throughout the whole day. The spectators will also be able to make their contribution - to upload videos of themselves making a pirouette. The material will then be edited and a film will be made; this film will symbolize the drawing power of the dance, which knows no borders. The broadcast on the channel Y ouTube will be repeated, so audiences around the world will be able to see everything they might miss the first time. The most interesting shots will then be edited and available for further viewings. The idea of the project belongs to the Royal Ballet; in March 2012 the company already organized a similar nine-hour live broadcast on the YouT ube channel and the website of "The Guardian" newspaper. The broadcast was viewed 200,000 times. To date, a total of 2.5 mln people have taken a look at life behind the scenes at the Royal Ballet. This time four more theatres will open the virtual access behind the scenes and will allow audiences to see their wonderful artists' hard, painstaking work. Finally, it will be the FIRST TIME that YouT ube has organized a live broadcast that will continue for more than nine hours (!).
